Yes I am still awake drawing strange shapes on boxes but... it will all be worth it. Saturday night (22nd) at Maruru for the BIGGEST breakdown event yet.

Saturday @ MARURU Kyoto

This Saturday is a big one!!! The breakdowns own Karl will be putting on his first solo exhibition at one of Kyotos most talked about night spots Maruru. Saturday (22nd) is the opening party and of course the whole breakdown crew will be spinning all the best soul, funk, hip-hop and reggae to mark the event. The show is an early start at 7:30pm till 12 maps and more details will be posted soon.

More snaps from another great ohh.. nite This weekend sees `The Breakdown Crew` with saturday off, but you can catch Kult Klassic on friday night (14th) spinning at rais house 6 1/2.
The next event is at Maruru April 22nd.

The night started out well. We hooked it up the bar, and confidence was at an all time high. With Karl running the reggae muzak, and Redolent, Rai and i working out the hip hop and funk, it seemed like a win win situation. Big up to all those who came early- tomoko and friends- but we ended up getting a crowd around 2 am. No probs with that, but we will get it even more crunk next month, and see if we cant tear the roof off like we planned. Big up to Rai for making it happen month after month.
